Chair Yoga, also referred to as Seated Yoga, is accessible to virtually everyone. How much time do you spend sitting each day? In your car...on a plane...at your desk...or on the sofa? Now you can get fit right where you are...in your chair with the convenience of your iPod or any MP3 player. Our digital files can also be recorded on CDs or cassette tapes if preferred. These four gentle 15-minutes classes will be the bring about renewed vitality, strength and flexibility regardless of your physical condition.
YogaBits 1: Breathing and Relaxation (Pranayama)
Enjoy these 15 minutes of guided conscious yogic breathing called “pranayama”. With simple this breathing and stretching audio program, you can relax, release stress, detoxify the body, and lower blood pressure simply by using your breath. You'll learn to breathe gently while stretching your neck and shoulders to release tension and increase circulation.
YogaBits 2: Upper Body Stretching
Focusing on the upper body for 15 powerful minutes, you can release shoulder tension, energize and increase circulation your arms, stretch your chest, neck, spine and ribcage while gently strengthening and stretching your lower back... all from the comfort of your chair.
YogaBits 3: Stretching and Twists
Stretch your hamstrings, legs and lower back; do spinal twists to help detoxify your organs and create more flexibility in your spine. Relax as you breathe...Susan will teach you the power and convenience of chair yoga.
YogaBits 4: Lower Back, Legs and Feet
Strengthen and stretch your back bodyhips, buttocks, lower back and even your abdominalsas you relax and breathe your way into a more energized and flexible body. Create more spinal flexibility as you progressively stretch through your arms, legs, and chest.

Joy of Rejuvenation

Note: This class is recommended for more practiced beginners.
Susan Winter Ward's Joy of Rejuvenation is a practice for the more ambitious or advanced beginner. Yoga students who are familiar with basic poses can benefit immediately from this class. Instructions are described in detail so that the focus can be inward and auditory, rather than visual. Susan created this audio class after teaching yoga to blind students, so the instruction can be easily followed without visual aid.
The class is a well-rounded practice building strength, flexibility, balance and breath. Beginning with stretching, standing and balancing poses, moving into seated asanas and then into abdominal strengthening and finally resting in savasana, most students will find this class gently challenging while peaceful and relaxing.
Beautiful Native American flute music, especially composed for this audio program, brings a meditative and relaxed atmosphere to the practice.
Joy of Rejuvenation is great for use on your iPhone, iPod or any MP3 player, or even on your laptop computer. The file can also be copied to an MP3 CD, which will play on most newer model CD and DVD players.
